Rajya Sabha MP and national general secretary of National Association of Fishermen, JP Nishad inaugurated the national meet of the Akhil Bharatiya Adivasi Kashyap, Kahar, Nishad, Bhoi Samanvaya Samiti.
Among representatives of the various communities from across India, former cabinet minister rank position holder Santosh Kashyap spoke about the need for an action plan to take the Kashyap community forward.
She exhorted members of the community to support any member of the community who contests an election at any level. She said that political parties who field members of the community will also get votes from the community.
