Kasiga School celebrated its 17th founder’s day and investiture ceremony on Saturday. The chairman of the school Ramesh Batta and senior administrative officer R Rajesh Kumar inaugurated the programme. The highlight of the event was the presentation of a video documenting Kasiga’s evolution from inception with 10 students in 2007 to becoming a co-educational boarding school. Later, Kumar was introduced to the gathering as an IAS officer who played a significant role in the State’s administration and development. In his address, he exhorted the students to strive for excellence and contribute positively to society. Cultural performances were held as part of the day’s commemorative programmes.
