Kasiga School hosted the 8th edition of the Silver Fiesta, a film critique inter-school competition featuring participation from nine schools across the region, alongside the host school. The competition commenced with a workshop led by Trishla Malik, a Supreme Court advocate and director of the critically acclaimed film ‘Ek Galti: A Lifetime Regret.’ Students who attended the workshop said that the session had enriched them with valuable insights into the world of film critique and the art of storytelling.
The panel of judges included an accomplished actor and international beauty pageant judge Abhishek Kapoor who was recognised with titles such as Mr Earth 2017 and International Icon of the Year 2020 by the Government of Uttarakhand.
The organisers said that the participating students showcased their analytical skills, creativity and deep understanding of film as an art form with each team having presented well-researched critiques, demonstrating a high level of originality and insight.
After evaluation, the competition concluded with the following results:
Winners’ Trophy: DIS City Campus
1st Runner-Up: DIS River Side
2nd Runner-Up: Kasiga School
Jury’s Choice Award: Aryan School
