Kasiga School hosted ‘Silver Fiesta’ inter-school movie critiquing competition which, according to the organisers, witnessed fierce competition. After rounds of analysis and deliberation, Wynberg Allen School emerged as the winners of this year’s event, the organisers added. The first runner-up position was claimed by Unison School while the second runner-up title was awarded to DIS City Campus. The jury’s award, a special recognition for outstanding analysis, was presented to DIS Riverside Campus, the organisers informed.
The event, showcasing the students’ keen eye for filmmaking nuances, featured a diverse range of films for review, the office- bearers of Kasiga School said and added that the judging panel, composed of film critics and industry professionals Yashasvi Juyal and Viraj Sikand, unanimously voted for the Dutch film titled ‘Close’ as the centerpiece of their evaluation. They further said that students from various schools had brought their perspectives to the table, fostering an exchange of ideas and viewpoints.
The chief guest for the event was Sudarshan Juyal.
