Kaushik checks BJP’s Covid control room

Exhorts all party workers to help resolve problems faced by people due to Covid
A total of 150 issues received at the Covid-19 control room being operated at the Bharatiya Janata Party state head office here during the past three days have been resolved by the party workers. This was revealed when the BJP State president Madan Kaushik visited the Covid control room in the party office and held discussions with the party’s office bearers handing the control room. Kaushik also talked to administrators of various government and private hospitals in Dehradun on the phone and requested them to cooperate and maintain coordination with the team operating the control room. The party’s state president also sought updates from the party’s district heads about the works being undertaken by the party’s district control rooms to assist those in need. He reiterated that the party workers should strive to reach every person in need. The party workers should be eager to ensure that those in need get medicines, treatment and other essential items on time, he said.
Kaushik was informed that 150 issues communicated to the party’s control room in Dehradun during the past three days had been resolved. The control room team got these issues resolved with the help of the health ministry, chief medical officers, disaster management officers, public representatives and MLAs. The team also sent party workers to government and private hospitals to help the people in resolving the issues communicated to the control room. Talking to the team in the Dehradun control room and the district control rooms set up by the party, the BJP State chief asked them to focus on facilitating maximum testing, vaccination and distribution of masks and sanitisers through party workers who should also focus on raising public awareness. He exhorted the party workers to work for solution of the problems being faced by the people due to Covid. He also thanked various social organisations for their support to the control room. The state control room in-charge Vinod Suyal, Kunwar Japendra Singh and Shekhar Verma were also present during Kaushik’s visit.
