Kaushik directs all party cells to work against Covid in rural areas

Continuing the party’s efforts to assist in the fight against Covid-19, the Bharatiya Janata Party state president Madan Kaushik has directed the seven cells of the party to undertake efforts on a war footing. Chairing a virtual meeting with office bearers of all the seven Morchas of the party, Kaushik directed them to focus their efforts on prevention of Covid and helping the affected persons in the rural areas. Addressing the heads and general secretaries of the party cells, Kaushik directed them to undertake efforts on a war footing. In the meeting attended by office bearers of the party’s scheduled caste cell, scheduled tribe cell, OBC cell, Mahila Morcha, Yuva Morcha, Kisan Morcha and minorities cell, the BJP state president to put in cent per cent effort where needed in coordination with the district magistrate and chief medical officer. He directed them to step up the distribution of masks, sanitisers and provision of food for the needy. Kaushik said that camps should be organised to facilitate blood for those in need. This work should be done while maintaining communication with the officials concerned. He said, “All have to work together in order to defeat Covid-19. Works done to serve the public will become easier if undertaken in coordination with the control rooms set up by the party in each district. Taking cognisance of calls for assistance received in the control rooms, work should be undertaken in a coordinated manner. We are also with the affected people for facilitating oxygen and hospital beds,” said Kaushik.
The BJP State president further said that the Congress is busy spreading lies and is bereft of the attitude to serve the people. Playing negative politics amidst the Covid pandemic has exposed the real face of the Congress for all to see, he added.
