In latest news from Uttarakhand, if the weather allows, the reconstruction of the Kedarnath will resume on April 1. The public works department (PWD) has deployed a group of 70 labourers for clearing the Gaurikund-Kedarnath bridle path of the accumulated snow before the commencement of this year’s yatra on May 10. They are presently working on the stretch between Rambara and Lincholi. PWD sources said that they would be sent to Kedarnath on March 25.
In the next phase of the reconstruction, the target has been set to complete three construction works -bridge on river Saraswati, Badri-Kedar Temple committee office and hospital.
