In latest news from Uttarakhand, the doli carrying the idol of Kedarnath is now on its way to the shrine after departing from the Gauri Mai temple in Gaurikund in the morning. Notably, the portals of the revered shrine are slated to open for the devotees on Friday. As per the schedule, the doli will reach the dham in the evening.
Villagers, particularly students, of Gauro Gaon showered petals on the doli when it was leaving the Gauri Mai temple. The district administration and police officers along with GMVN officers welcomed the doli on the Kedarnath bridle path.
