The portals of Kedarnath shrine will be reopened for devotees on May 17. The shrine will be opened ceremoniously at 5 AM on Monday, May 17.
The date was decided by priests after astrological calculations on the basis of the Hindu calendar at lord Kedarnath’s winter abode of Omkareshwar temple in Ukhimath on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
