KGCCI convenes seminar on budget’s GST changes

While addressing a conference on the changes made in the Union Budget in tax structure and GST, the president of the Kumaun Garhwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) Ashok Bansal said that the conference had been convened to enlighten the entrepreneurs on the recent changes made in the tax structure in the particular context of GST. He said that the country’s development is founded on the tax system and so the industrialists must be well-versed in the details of the tax structure with particular reference to GST. He also urged the State administration to promptly address and redress the complaints filed by the entrepreneurs to speed up the State’s industrial development.
Among the dignitaries present were the joint commissioner (Executive) Smita; the assistant commissioner, CGST, Rajinder Chowdhary and joint commissioner (Audit), Rohit Srivastava.
