In latest news from Uttarakhand, the president of Kumaun Garhwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) informed that his organisation was welcoming the Centre’s initiative to reduce the burden of its cases being foisted on the industrialists. “Under this, the number of unnecessary appeals in the courts will be reduced by removing the anomalies in the notifications and government orders which cause court cases. We are relieved,” he said, adding that the departmental officers should now work in accordance with this policy with immediate effect.
He further expressed the hope that it would inspire the State government officials to withdraw unnecessary cases filed against the industries. “This initiative will not only provide relief to the industries currently operating but open the doors for new investments in Uttarakhand,” Bansal added.
