Khanna asks Bal Vidhan Sabha participants to act against wrong activities

The chairperson of the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (SCPCR) Geeta Khanna said that participants in Bal Vidhan Sabha should take strict action against wrong activities in society. She said this during the second session of Bal Vidhan Sabha at Gairsain on Monday.
In the second session, the participants made presentations of the work done by them in six months. Khanna congratulated them and appreciated their work. She emphasised that they should work efficiently and with full confidence in their respective areas. Apart from this, she appealed to them to respect their family members and teachers, work on environmental protection and establish coordination with the village heads of their area.
Further, the district probation officer of women’s welfare Meena Bisht informed them about the women welfare schemes. Health department official Arjun Rawat provided information about health facilities in remote areas.
SK Singh from SCPCR informed the gathering about various schemes for welfare of women and children.
