Denying relief for the Delhi chief minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal who is now in Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody for his alleged connection with excise policy-linked money laundering case, a court in Delhi extended the ED custody till April 1. Notably, the agency had sought seven-day custody of Khejriwal. But the court ruled that he has to be produced before the court at 11 am on April 1.
While pleading for seven-day custody in a fresh remand plea, the ED said that although his statements had been recorded during his five-day custodial interrogation, he had given evasive replies.
