In order to promote kickboxing Khelo India will be organising a women’s kickboxing league on October 1 in Dehradun. The president of Uttarakhand Amateur Kickboxing Association (UAKA) Arvind Kumar Kotnala informed that to promote and strengthen Indian sports, kickboxing has become an integral part of Khelo India. He said to promote kickboxing, Khelo India will be organising the kickboxing league on October 1 in Dehradun.
The league will act as a milestone in the promotion of women’s kickboxing across the State. It is a platform for females across the State to showcase their skills and compete at the highest level, he added.
He further added that this league will also harness the potential of women and train them at the highest level so that they can win medals for the State.
