The Kumaun University administration is now preparing in full swing for the 19th convocation ceremony slated on December 16. To review the preparations, the vice-chancellor, Prof Diwan Singh Rawat conducted an inspection of the A N Singh auditorium located in the DSB campus of the university.
Rawat said that all the preparations should be ensured in a timely and quality manner. He especially emphasised on the stage decoration, security arrangements and arrangements made for the guests. Among those who accompanied the VC were the director DSB campus Prof Neeta Bora Sharma; dean, Student Welfare Prof Sanjay Pant and senior professors Lalit Tiwari and Vijay Kumar.
Notably, the Governor who is also the chancellor of the university will award degrees to the students of various courses.
