KU hosts entrepreneurship camp for students

Under the Devbhoomi Entrepreneurship Scheme, the second boot camp was organised at the DSB campus of Kumaun University to motivate students towards entrepreneurship. The director, Visiting Professor Cell, Prof Lalit Tiwari conducted the programme and spoke in detail on the basic features of entrepreneurship. The nodal officer, Devbhoomi Entrepreneurship Centre, Vijay Kumar said that while the youth here look for employment those in Gujarat, Rajasthan and Punjab take entrepreneurship as the first option of livelihood. He explained how the startups like Flipkart, Zomato, Oyo, Paytm, Panipuri and Paper Boat had become success stories though they started humbly. Several students participated in it and said such programmes motivate them.
