KU student to receive Princeton Foundation Fellowship

The vice- chancellor of Kumaun University, Prof. Diwan Singh Rawat congratulated the BSc student of Agriculture (3rd Semester) Harshita Sharma on receiving the Princeton Foundation National Fellowship for Peace and Learning India 2024-25. Notably. Princeton Foundation is a global non-profit organisation registered with the US government and the Government of India. In 2011, this organisation started philanthropic work with the aim of empowering women in India through higher education and then in 2016, it expanded its scope of work in areas like healthcare, education and world peace.
Harshita will receive a scholarship of Rs 25,000 per semester under the Princeton Foundation National Fellowship for Peace and Learning India 2024-25. The VC hailed her achievement as a matter of pride for the university, saying that it would inspire other students.
