In latest news from Uttarakhand, the DSB campus of Kumaun University announced the timeline of the sports competitions for the session 2024-25 following a meeting of the Dean University Students’ Welfare (DSW) presided over by Prof Sanjay Pant.
It was decided at the meeting that the annual sports competitions of the campus would be held in October and the National Sports Day on August 29 would be celebrated appropriately. The meeting also decided to felicitate the players of DSB campus who won medals in the national level university sports competitions. Besides, the response of important programmes like anti-drug drive and anti-ragging drive was discussed. Those who attended the meeting further said that the university management, teachers and students are gearing up to make the Tiranga Yatra a grand success.
