On the special occasion of the 138th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant, the Himalayan Museum and History Department in DSB campus of Kumaun University Nainital is hosting a special exhibition based on his life and contribution from September 10 to 30.
This exhibition will be open for the general people and students as well as researchers and teachers from 10.30 AM to 3.30 PM every day. Rare documents, letters and photographs and other historical material related to the freedom struggle and public service of Pt Pant, who was the first Home Minister of India, will be displayed in the exhibition.
The organising committee coordinator and History Department’s Sanjay Ghildiyal and the museum in-charge, Savitri Kaida Jantwal have appealed to everyone to view the exhibition and understand the life and works of the great leader closely.
