The Kumaon commissioner, Deepak Rawat who is also secretary to chief minister conducted a site inspection of the damage caused by fire at Saraswati Shishu Mandir School and Deena Hotel near China Baba Temple in Mallital under Nainital city. A committee had been formed to investigate what had triggered the blaze, he said and appreciated the Fire Brigade team for promptly putting out the fire.
Thereafter, he inspected the beautification works being done in Maa Naina Devi temple premises, gate construction and tiles road asphalting and construction of shops.
