Kurmanchal Bank gets permission for online service

The Reserve Bank of India has granted permission to the Kurmanchal Bank to provide internet service. The bank’s chairman Vinay Sah said that with this development, Kurmanchal Bank will become the State’s first cooperative bank to provide online service.
Addressing the media here on Saturday he said that the bank had done business amounting to Rs 3,609 crore in the previous financial year. He said that internet services have become a need for bank customers at present.
Considering this, the bank had been consistently trying to facilitate this and has now succeeded in getting permission for the same. The start of online services will benefit the bank’s customers considerably. At present the bank’s customers are able to check details of their account on the bank’s app.
