Students warned against wasting time on social media

In latest news from Uttarakhand, the two-day induction programme held at DSB campus of Kumaun University concluded with cultural and other programmes organised by the students.
Addressing the programme on the concluding day, the joint director, Uttarakhand Administrative Academy Mahesh Kumar exhorted the students not to idle away time on social media and instead engrosses themselves fully in studies aiming success.
The sub-divisional magistrate Pramod Kumar advised the students to use their discretion correctly and move in the right direction while the vice- chancellor of the university Prof Diwan Singh Rawat said that students should use their energy positively. The VC also asked them to contact him directly in case he or she faces any sort of problem.
