The Kumaun University inter-college hockey (Men) competition was held at the DSA ground under the aegis of Kumaun University’s DSB campus. Three teams participated in it. A match was played between MBPG College Haldwani and Radhey Hari PG College Kashipur where the latter beat the former by 5-1. The final match was played between last year’s winner DSB Campus Nainital and Radhey Hari PG College Kashipur and Radhey Hari PG College won the match by 4-2.
The city magistrate Varuna Agarwal awarded the players of the winning and the runner up. Among the dignitaries present were the campus director Prof Neeta Bora Sharma and dean, student welfare Prof Sanjay Pant.
