The Kumaun University Teachers Association (KUTA) met and felicitated the vice-chancellor of Kumaun University Diwan Singh Rawat on his success in convincing the State government into providing the university with 26.4 acres of land to build a campus in Patwadangar. Speaking on the occasion, the president, KUTA, Prof Lalit Tiwari said that several professional centres would be set up in the new campus. He also thanked the chief minister, Higher Education minister and chief secretary for proving the university with the land to build its campus in.
