Kendriya Vidyalaya, BHEL, Hardwar celebrated the 62nd foundation day of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan on Friday enthusiastically. The executive director, BHEL, Hardwar, T S Murli inaugurated the commemorative programme as the chief guest. A group of students presented science models and brochures on the holy city to the chief guest and other guests of honour. This was followed by an array of activities, including Western dance performance, cultural fusion dance on the theme of unity in diversity and a small skit conveying the social message of women empowerment.
Murli said he was happy on observing the positive and creative outlook among the students towards progress. The circle officer, Sadar, Haridwar Jitendra Mehra exhorted them to embrace the true meaning of education: the capability to give back to the society. Among others present was the principal KV, BHEL, Hardwar Taruna Kaur.
