The annual function of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya II, Roorkee was held in the school premises on Thursday with active participation of teachers and students. A science exhibition was held in which the students displayed their models and paintings. A host of cultural programmes was held to mark the occasion. A one-act Hindi play ‘Plastic is a curse’ was staged and the students gave an anti-plastic message.
The principal Netra Singh said that the school would establish new dimensions of progress in the coming times while the chief guest of the programme, Brigadier Karun Pratap Singh underscored the need to arouse and hone talent dormant in every child. The children who performed commendably in various programmes of the school throughout the year were presented awards.
