To mark the third anniversary of the launching of the National Education Policy (NEP)- 2020, a programme was organised at Kendriya Vidyalaya No II Roorkee on Wednesday where the key focuses of NEP were highlighted by the speakers. While presiding over the programme, the Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya II, Arvind Kumar said that as his school is implementing the policy with full dedication and commitment, the minimum age for children’s admission has been changed and the teachers are being imparted training from time to time in line with NEP.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya No I, Chandrashekhar Bisht highlighted some points of the policy.
While dwelling on the implementation of NEP in Navodaya Vidyalayas, Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Haridwar, Mahendra Singh said that the maximum opportunities are being provided to the children in these schools.
As the New Education Policy 2020 was launched by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 29 2020, to mark the third anniversary of its launching, PM Modi is slated to inform the people about the implementation of NEP and the changes it has been ushering in in the realm of education at ITPO Pragati Maidan on July 29.
