The students of Kendriya Vidyalaya-II here organised a cycle rally on World Bicycle Day on Friday to raise awareness on the importance of cycling. About 70 students cycled from the school to IIT Roorkee while also raising slogans highlighting the importance of cycling for health and environment.
School principal Arvind Kumar stressed on the importance of cycling considering the rising pollution. Cycling not only improves health but also helps in preventing environmental pollution, he added.
