The Ladies Club of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, hosted a commemorative Sports Day event at the university’s Stevenson Stadium. Led by the club president, Veena Chauhan, the members participated in large numbers.
Various sports competitions were held during the event, where participants showcased their talent, energy and sportsmanship, the organisers said, adding that the main objective of the Sports Day programme was to promote health, fitness and spirit of mutual cooperation among the women members.
Ladies Club, Pantnagar declared that it would organise such inspirational programmes in future also.
