Lalkuan Nagar Panchayat chairman raises devt issues with CM

The chairman of Lalkuan Nagar Panchayat, Surendra Singh Lotani met the chief minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami in Dehradun on Saturday and discussed key civic issues concerning Lalkuan town. He later informed that the CM had been apprised of several long-pending public concerns, including the currently stalled process of granting land ownership rights to the residents of the town. “Several other issues pertaining to the town figured during the meeting. These included construction of a mini stadium and an electric crematorium besides allocation of vacant revenue land within the municipal area to the nagar panchayat for development works and shifting of the existing 33 KV high-voltage power line outside the town limits,” Lotani added.

He further said that the CM had assured that his government would seriously consider these issues and necessary actions would be taken at the earliest.  “We hope things will start moving soon for the betterment of our town’s development infrastructure, given the CM’s positive response all through the meeting to the issues we raised,” Lotani added.

Several ward members were present at the meeting with the chief minister along with the nagar panchayat chairman.
