Last date of application for Tilu Rauteli Award extended from July 12 to 17

In latest news Dehradun, the State women empowerment and child development minister Rekha Arya said that the date of sending application for the Tilu Rauteli Award has been extended from July 12 to July 17. Notably, this State level award is conferred on women for their exemplary performances in different fields of work on August 8 every year. The minister ascribed the decision to extend the date of application for the award to the non-receipt of application from several districts of the State. “We must ensure that no one is deprived of the opportunity this project offers,” she added.

Regarding the proposed construction of hostels for working women in every district of the State, she said that the departmental officers concerned have been asked to work to execute this project expeditiously. “Work on this project will start soon and once completed, this will immensely benefit the working women of the State,” Arya said.

The matters pertaining to anganwadi centres have also figured in course of the programme implementation review meeting. The senior State-level and district level officers of the department attended the meeting.
