Legendary actor Dilip who was popularly known as the tragedy king of Bollywood, died on Wednesday morning at 7:30 am the age of 98 in Mumbai.
Mohammed Yusuf Khan, known professionally as Dilip Kumar, is an Indian actor, film producer and philanthropist, best known for his work in Hindi cinema.
“With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return,” his friend Faisal Farooqui wrote on the actor’s official Instagram account.
Hindi films Azaad, Devdas, Aan, Daag, Mughal-e-Azam, Ganga Jamuna, Kranti, Karma, Ram Aur Shyam among others are his best known films .
