In latest news from Uttarakhand, leopard mauled a woman-identified as Prava Devi (52)- when she was cutting grass for her livestock in a garden at Kalu Siddh under Ramnagar forest range. Hearing her scream, villagers came out. Seeing so many people gathered there and shouting, the big cat fled.
A forest department team rushed to the spot and the injured woman was taken to the government hospital in Ramnagar where she is being treated now.
