In latest news from Uttarakhand, a child was mauled to death by a prowling leopard in Purbal gram panchayat under Tehri district. The three-old-year child Raj was playing in his house’s courtyard along with siblings when the big cat ambushed. After a long search, his body was found behind bushes. The gram pradhan Sanjay Rawat said that blood trail found on the road had led them to the body.
On being informed, the forest department officials rushed in and started investigation.
