The State Meteorological Centre has forecast that very light to light rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts on Saturday. Apart from this, dry weather is likely to prevail in the remaining districts of the State.
The provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to witness a mainly clear sky with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to be about 25 degrees Celsius and nine degrees Celsius respectively today.
Meanwhile, Dehradun and other parts of the State witnessed above normal temperatures on Friday. The maximum and minimum temperatures were 24.6 degrees Celsius and 7.3 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 24.1 degrees Celsius and 6.2 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 14.4 degrees Celsius and 1.4 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 16.6 degrees Celsius and 2.6 degrees Celsius in New Tehri.
