Light rain and snowfall are likely in the higher reaches of one mountainous district of the State today. Apart from this, dry weather is likely to prevail in the remaining districts of the State on Sunday.
According to the State meteorological centre, very light to light rain/snowfall is likely to occur at isolated places in the higher reaches of Uttarkashi district on Sunday. Further, shallow to moderate fog is likely to occur in some parts of Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts today.
The provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to experience mainly clear sky with mist likely to occur during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 24 degrees Celsius and seven degrees Celsius respectively on Sunday.
The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Saturday were 23.3 degrees Celsius and six degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 11.4 degrees Celsius and 5.2 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 18.2 degrees Celsius and 4.6 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 19 degrees Celsius and 6.4 degrees Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
