Polling will conclude on June 1, counting on June 4

The Lok Sabha poll for the five seats in Uttarakhand will be held in the first phase on April 19 and after the seven poll phases are completed on June 1, the counting will be held on June 4. Announcing the poll schedule in Delhi flanked by two new election commissioners Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, the chief election commissioner Rajiv Kumar said that the polls would be held on April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25 and June 1. Besides, the assembly elections in Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim will be held on April 19 while the same in Andhra Pradesh will be held on May 13 and Odhisa assembly election will be held in four phases on May 13, May 20, May 25 and June 1.
