Mahant Indiresh Hospital gears up to treat dengue patients

Considering the possibility of an increase in the number of Dengue patients, the administration of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital appointed Dr Jaskaran Bazad as the dengue nodal officer of the hospital on Wednesday. Besides this, 125 beds have also been reserved for the dengue patients, the chief medical superintendent of the hospital Dr Prerak Mittal said. He informed that the hospital has made all arrangements to tackle dengue cases.

Both ELISA and Rapid tests are also available for dengue testing in the hospital. The hospital has also directed the emergency ward and the blood banks to stay on high alert in case the city experiences dengue in near future, the CMS said.
