The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara met Lok Sabha MP from Wayanad Priyanka Gandhi in New Delhi on Tuesday. He congratulated Gandhi for registering an emphatic victory in the Wayanad by-election.
The two leaders also discussed many issues related to Uttarakhand in the meeting. Mahara said that every worker of the Congress party is committed to transfer the messages of central leadership to the booth level in an effective manner.
Gandhi told Mahara that she and her family are deeply connected with Uttarakhand. She assured the PCC president that she will always remain prepared to strengthen the Congress party in Uttarakhand.
