The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara will undertake a Kedarnath Bachao Yatra from July 24. He said that the religious sentiments of the followers of Sanatan Dharma have been hurt by those who are using pictures of Kedarnath Dham to seek donations for construction of a temple in Buradi in Delhi. Mahara said that he will start his Yatra from Har ki Paidi in Haridwar and the foot march will end by offering prayers at Kedarnath Dham. He said that Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has questioned about the disappearance of 230 kilogrammes of gold from Kedarnath and the government should give an answer on the subject.
