The State Tourism, Religious Affairs and Culture minister Satpal Maharaj met the Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini at Haryana Bhawan in Delhi on Wednesday and discussed in detail the mooted Mahabharata Circuit. He is stated to have told Saini about the
historical and mythological places related to the Mahabharata period across Uttarakhand which would be included in the Mahabharata Circuit. He further informed the CM that the Uttarakhand government was working on developing this tourism circuit. As envisaged in this plan, Kurukshetra should be connected to those places in Uttarakhand where the Pandavas stayed, he told Saini.
