Maharaj grateful to CM for specialists’ recruitment at Pauri hospital

In latest news from Doon, the State tourism and PWD minister Satpal Maharaj expressed gratitude to the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and the Health minister Dhan Singh Rawat for their initiative to recruit specialist doctors at Pauri district hospital. Notably, Maharaj had requested them for the recruitment, citing how the absence of adequate number of specialist doctors had been affecting health service at the State-run medical facility.
He said while addressing an election campaign meeting in Kotdwar that 18 specialist doctors and 28 nursing/paramedical staff had been appointed for the hospital. He further said that the State government’s prompt action in this matter would facilitate proper treatment for the seriously ill and injured admitted at the district hospital.
