Maharaj inaugurates & lays foundation stone of projects worth Rs 13 crore in Pauri

The Tourism, Culture, Public Works, Panchayat and Irrigation minister Satpal Maharaj inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of a string of development projects worth Rs 13. 04 crore involving public works, irrigation and Panchayat departments meant for Pokhra development block of Pauri district on Thursday. Invoking the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the State chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, he said that Uttarakhand has been surging apace developmentally under their guidance.  

Among the projects the minister launched and laid foundation stones of on the day included construction and asphalting of a number of motor roads, irrigation projects and panchayat-related projects spread across the block. Notably, he had inaugurated and laid foundation stones of  a slew of development projects worth more than Rs 37 crore meant for Ekeshwar and Jaiharikhal development blocks in Pauri district on Wednesday-the first day of his visit to the district.
