Maharaj interacts with locals on development & public grievances

The State’s Tourism, Public Works, Irrigation and Panchayati Raj minister Satpal Maharaj said that the government has sanctioned six drinking water pumping schemes in the Pauri district.The sanctioned drinking water pumping plans include Gujarkhand pumping scheme, Jwalpa pumping scheme, Bhuyadanda pumping scheme, Parsundakhal Devta pumping scheme, Bedikhal Joggimadi and Rashiya Mahadev pumping scheme.Thousands of people will be benefited from these drinking water schemes. In addition to this, a 40- bed tourist house in Satpuli and Satpuli-Syunsi lake have also been sanctioned. The minister further said that mineral water from the remote village of Pinani in Chaubattakhal area will be taken to different parts of the nation and even abroad. Officials of the watershed growth centre have been instructed that mineral water of Pinani should be sold in glass bottles in different parts of the nation.
While visiting his Assembly constituency of Chaubattakhal, the minister visited various villages and interacted with the villagers while also asking them about their problems. He instructed the officials to ensure that the problems of the people are solved without delay. The people should not have to visit the office of the department concerned to get their problems solved, he stressed. He said that state and central governments are both working for the benefit of public. He further said that road and drinking water facilities will be provided in the remote area of Jogimaddi-Rashiya Mahadev in Chaubattakhal.
