Cabinet minister Satpal Maharaj has departed for Gujarat on the directions of the Bharatiya Janata Party high command for the second phase of campaigning for the Assembly elections in the State.
The minister’s media advisor Nishith Saklani informed that in order to achieve its target of winning the Assembly elections, the plan for Gujarat tour by central and senior office bearers of the BJP has been prepared under the directions of the party’s national president JP Nadda and national general secretary (Organisation) BL Santhosh.
Following the directions from the party high command, cabinet minister Maharaj will be touring the Lunawada Assembly constituency from November 22 to 24 while campaigning for the BJP, said Saklani.
