Maharaj now pitches for Kedarkhand Mandir Mala Mission

In latest news from Doon, the State’s tourism minister Satpal Maharaj said that Kedarkhand Mandir Mala Mission should be formed to develop the identified ancient shrine sites in Kedarkhand region on the lines of Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission. He further said that a statue of Ved Vyas would be installed in Gunji Valley and Sri Kartik Swami Mandir in Rudraprayag district would be revamped. He said this while chairing a review meeting at the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board in Doon.

Maharaj shared details of the funds allotted or to be allotted for the revamping projects involving Mahasu Devta temple in Dehradun district, Timmersain Mahadev Cave in Chamoli district and Shri Kartik Swami Temple in Rudraprayag district among others.  He also named other big ticket projects across the State where works are in progress or will be taken up soon.
