The State Tourism and Culture minister Satpal Maharaj unveiled a pastry and tea-coffee lounge dedicated to the food and beverages made from Buransh at Hyatt Centric here on Saturday.
Hailing the Hyatt Centric’s initiative, he said that this first of its kind lounge would take forward the culinary heritage of Uttarakhand. “It is very commendable to include dishes like Buransh Pastry, Jaunsar Pastry, Sikde Cookies and Buransh Kahwa in the menu of Buransh,” he said, adding that the lounge is a celebration of the vibrant culture and traditions of Uttarakhand. Among the dignitaries present was the Hyatt Centric Dehradun general manager Ajit Singh Gandhi.
