A ceremony was organised on the occasion of Mahashivratri at Sadhana Mandir Ashram in Rishikesh, the tapasya sthali of Swami Rama, the founder of the Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust (HIHT) on Friday.
Various religious rituals were conducted on the occasion which commenced with the auspicious Panchang Puja, followed by Rudra Abhishek and Arti.
The cabinet minister Subodh Uniyal, the president of the Himalayan University Vijay Dhasmana, Rajendra Dobhal and others were present on the occasion.
