Mahesh Joshi suspended from Congress for six years

Acting tough on indiscipline and voices of dissent in the party the Uttarakhand Congress has expelled the former secretary of state Congress Mahesh Joshi for a period of six years. The general secretary organisation of Uttarakhand Congress Vijay Saraswat said that the PCC president Karan Mahara has expelled Joshi from the party. He said Joshi had circulated a post in social media in the name of former PCC President Pritam Singh. In the post Joshi levelled serious allegations on the Congress State in-charge Devendra Yadav on behalf of Pritam Singh. Saraswat said that when PCC president contacted Pritam Singh on phone he categorically said that the comments made by Joshi are his personal ( Joshi’s ) comments and not anyway related to him. Saraswat said that the party would also take legal action against Joshi for his mischievous social media post and warned that the party would not tolerate discipline.
