The former Vice President of Uttarakhand unit of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Major General (Retd), Dr C K Jakhmola joined the Congress party on Thursday. He was formally inducted into the party in presence of Uttarakhand Congress Devendra Yadav, the national spokesperson of Congress Gaurav Vallabh and the general secretary Organisation of Uttarakhand Congress Joshi. Welcoming Jakhmola, Yadav said that he is the true son of Devbhoomi and the Congress party would benefit from his experience. Speaking on the occasion Jakhmola said that he is convinced that the only party which is secular in true sense and can serve the people of the country.
